Utah Pink

Utah Pink Salt is a natural, unrefined kosher salt with 50 trace minerals which give it numerous rejuvenating characteristics. It has a distinctive white/pink coloring with some granules in a deep red hue. Utah Pink Salt is mined from a prehistoric salt deposit located over 150 miles from the Great Salt Lake. During the Jurassic period, seas covered this area of the continental United States. Kala Namak ("Black")

This sulfuric salt is an unrefined mineral salt. It is not actually black, but a grayish pink. It has a high sulfur content and a strong purifying, re-mineralizing, disinfecting effect on the body. Very popular in countries such as France, Japan and Spain for its ability to help with skin infections, inflammation, and respiratory problems. It is harvested in the volcanic regions of Pakistan and India and is powdery in consistency. Soaking in a bath with Kala Namak Bath Salts is similar to (and as therapeutic as) soaking in a naturally occurring sulfuric hot spring.
